This policy explains what information Convertpdfly collects when you use this website and how it is used. The short version: we never receive the files you work on.
Your files
All Convertpdfly tools run inside your web browser. The PDFs and images you add are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, copy or keep them. When you close or reload the page, they are gone from the tool.
If you use the “Drop a file to start” box on the home page and then pick a tool, your browser keeps the file in its own temporary storage for a few minutes so the tool page can open it. That storage is on your device and is cleared once the tool loads the file.
Information we collect
- Contact messages. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We keep these messages only as long as needed to answer you.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. These logs help us keep the site secure and working.
- Analytics and cookies. We may use analytics tools to count visits and see which tools are popular. These tools can set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the tools will still work.
- Advertising. If we show ads, our advertising partners may use cookies to show ads that match your interests. You can manage personalized ads in your Google account settings or through your browser.
How we use information
We use the information above to answer your messages, keep the website secure, understand how it is used, and improve our tools. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
Our pages load fonts and open-source code libraries from public content delivery networks (Google Fonts and cdnjs). These services can see your IP address when your browser requests those files, as with any website that uses them.
Children
Convertpdfly is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
